Learn mechanical engineering courses online!

Are you a mechanical engineering student interested in enhancing your knowledge ,apart from what you get from your college?Do you worry for missing the opportunity to study in topmost colleges?. Or do you want to learn mechanical engineering without going to a college? Don't worry! You can get free lectures from top institutes for mechanical engineering in the world(MIT and IITs). What you need is simple :A mind craving for knowledge and an internet connection!

MIT Open Courseware
Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (popularly known as MIT) offers free online lectures, lecture notes, assignments etc. that are needed to complete specific courses. MIT is currently ranked as the number one destination for mechanical engineering in the world by many leading magazines and surveys, so use the opportunity provided by them to get world-class education.

To see a list of video lectures (sadly, only a few courses have video lectures, but I hope they will add more), click here.

NPTEL
IITs (Indian Institute Of Technology) are a group of prestigious colleges run by the Indian government. Every Indian who wants to study engineering craves to get a seat in IITs. One of their wonderful startup is NPTEL(National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning). NPTEL provides free video lectures on almost all topics related to mechanical engineering,The quality of lectures given by IIT professors is of international standard, and one advantage of NPTEL over MIT Open Courseware is that they provide more number of video lectures along with lecture notes.
